Security

Your safety and security is one of our major concerns at ReferralClick. Let's review some of the security characteristics of the site.

First, our servers are managed by a company call The Planet. They operate several of the most secure data centers in the country. These secure sites are monitored 24 X 7, include advanced fire suppression, and are backed up by onsite and offsite auxiliary power systems. To review more information about ReferralClick's server provider, visit http://www.theplanet.com/data-centers. You'll find a majority of internet sites managed by professional data centers.

Second, we use a Secure Socket Layer or SSL with every page and function on ReferralClick. A SSL is a cryptographic protocol that provides security and data integrity over the network – basically we encrypt the information from the ReferralClick server to your computer (and vice-versa). To view ReferralClick’s Security Certificate, click on the padlock icon on your browser. A window will appear to verify our website and verify the current connection is using encryption.

Also, you can click on the icon on the bottom of this page for more specific information on ReferralClick's SSL Certificate.

Third, we offer the user group administrator the capability to change usernames and associated passwords instantly. We recommend the user administrator change their ReferralClick passwords as often as their security protocol dictates and manages access to this information as they would any other important information. If you think someone is using your account in an unauthorized manner, change your username and password in your My Member Area.

Lastly, if a ReferralClick user session stands idle for over 1 hour, the system automatically logs the current user out.

As a healthcare provider and user of ReferralClick, we expect that you will use the system in accordance with your organization's HIPAA and Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contract Peter at pmcintire@referralclick.com.
